London is a fantastic city when it comes to its distance to beautiful country and sea side. New Forest is one of those places in short distance to London. Last Bank Holiday, we decided to make a day trip and drive through the area. We were very pleased to find a region quite similar to Cornwall in greenery, plants, beaches and sea and yet much closer.
New Forest is a great place to go with children because they can get close to and even pad the wild roaming horses, breath in the beautiful sea air and run around on the sandy beaches of Barton on Sea or Milton on Sea.
Small villages such as Burley are also quite charming with their "witchcraft" shops and references.
